Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene rope is a high performance synthetic fiber rope prized for its exceptional strength, low weight, and durability. Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHNWPE) is a subset of the thermoplastic polyethylene family, with a molecular weight of 3.5 to 7.5 million g/mol. This makes UHMWPE ropes one of the strongest types of rope available, often stronger than steel wire of the same diameter, but significantly lighter and easier to handle.
