Square Rubber Fenders

Square rubber fenders are a type of marine fender commonly used to protect the docks, quay walls, and vessel hulls during berthing and mooring operations. The square profile gives these square fenders heavier shoulders which make them ideal for tougher service environments. They are particularly suitable for areas where flat contact surfaces are preferred.

The cross section of square rubber fenders is solid square or rectangular shape, sometimes with internal hollows (in circular or D-shape) to reduce weight or improve compression behavior. The square fenders can be connected by using bolts or strips. It can be mounted in different ways according to the actual conditions, like front-fixed, side-fixed, chain support and flush fitting. It is applicable for fishing harbors, small docks, inland waterways, ferry terminals, tugboat and barge hull protection, pontoons, floating docks and bridge protection.
