It has two types of core variations:

·Solid core: no bore, provides maximum durability and is suitable for high-impact areas.

·Hollow core: central bore for higher elasticity and lighter weight, reduces weight and allows for greater flexibility and energy absorption.

A D type cylindrical rubber fender is a common type of marine fender used to protect vessels and structures from collision damage. "D" is for its D-shaped cross-section,which combines the energy absorption of a cylindrical fender with a flat back for easier mounting.

The D type cylindrical rubber fender is made from vulcanized natural rubber or synthetic elastomers (like EPDM or SBR), known for: excellent tensile strength, high tear and abrasion resistance, and weathering, saltwater, UV, and ozone resistance. It can be bolt-on installation through pre-drilled holes or custom plates, and also can be glued or adhered for temporary applications.
